What's on the calendar during Europe? - Upcoming data

Don't forget

Starting from 7:00 GMT, there's a bit of low and medium impact data being released throughout the European session.

Upcoming data:

  • German Prelim CPI m/m: 0.4% expected and 0.1% previous
  • Spanish Flash CPI y/y: 2.3% expected and 2.3% previous
  • Swiss KOF Economic Barometer: 101.6 expected and 101.7 previous
  • UK Net Lending to Individuals m/m: 5.3B expected and 5.3B previous
  • UK M4 Money Supply m/m: 0.6% expected and 0.4% previous
  • UK Mortgage Approvals: 66K expected and 65K previous

There's nothing major here, but the German CPI number is an interesting one which I'm going to go into more detail on next up.

Being Monday, I wanted to also include the following so you're aware just how significant this week is in terms of data and central bank activity:

Tier 1 data/meetings to plan around:

  • US ADP Non Farm Employment Change Wednesday
  • US FOMC Decision Wednesday
  • UK BOE Decision Thursday
  • USD NFP Friday

Heck, Eamonn is even calling it Super Thursday in the UK!
