Markets are raising fresh questions
A wave of pessimism over the outlook for US-China trade talks has infected financial markets this week, with risk appetite coming off in a big way as a result. But there are other factors at play that should not be dismissed, including exhausted central bank monetary policy accommodation post 2008 crisis.
