Watch the debate at the House of Commons ahead of the amendments and Article 50 votes

Made for TV drama (also quite important stuff)

The debate on the amendments and the extension of Article 50 is ongoing. Below is the schedule of events:

  • 1700 GMT/1300 ET - Vote on amendment H
  • 1715 GMT/1315 ET - Vote on amendment I
  • 1745 GMT/1345 ET - Vote on amendment E
  • 1800 GMT/1900 ET - Vote on amendment J
  • 1815 GMT/1415 ET - Vote on Article 50

If amendment H is passed (a second referendum) then amendments I or E will be voted on. Amendment I seeks to pave the way for a vote on Brexit options. If amendment I passes, amendment E will not be voted on (seeks more time to find a common way through the Brexit impasse). The amendment J is in place to gauge whether Parliament would be willing to bring a meaningful vote on her plan for the third time.

The governement is whipping against all the amendments. Labour is backing E, I and J and abstaining from H.
