The debate on the amendments and the extension of Article 50 is ongoing. Below is the schedule of events:
- 1700 GMT/1300 ET - Vote on amendment H
- 1715 GMT/1315 ET - Vote on amendment I
- 1745 GMT/1345 ET - Vote on amendment E
- 1800 GMT/1900 ET - Vote on amendment J
- 1815 GMT/1415 ET - Vote on Article 50
If amendment H is passed (a second referendum) then amendments I or E will be voted on. Amendment I seeks to pave the way for a vote on Brexit options. If amendment I passes, amendment E will not be voted on (seeks more time to find a common way through the Brexit impasse). The amendment J is in place to gauge whether Parliament would be willing to bring a meaningful vote on her plan for the third time.
The governement is whipping against all the amendments. Labour is backing E, I and J and abstaining from H.
