Traders report that options expire this morning with strikes at 91.00 and 91.30. Prices sit right in between the two strikes with a bit more than 30 minutes to go until the expiry at 15:00 GMT. Options strikes tend to have a gravitational field all their own as they reach expiry as market-makers hedge their exposures.
EUR/USD continues to consolidate losses just above the 38.2% retracement of the rally that began last March before peaking just before Thanksgiving (late November). That level comes in at 1.4120.
