USDJPY breaks 105.50 as yen demand prevails again

Good support/demand at 105.50 now history 22 March

Risk-off sentiment that I highlighted earlier still in play and USDJPY lower at 105.32 with equities down, trader war concerns still an issue and ongoing global fragility

Barrier option still at 105.00 and that will provide support albeit acting as a target too.

I hear that it expires tomorrow so that could well open the gates to further falls if not seen by then. Another barrier at 104.00 though. All as per my option and order board posts.

Yen demand also capping core pairs with GBPJPY down to 1.4138 fresh post-BOE lows as GBPJPY falls below 149.00. EURUSD down to 1.2320 with EURJPY 129.77 session lows. AUDUSD 0.7710 as AUDJPY falls to 81.22. USDCAD up through 1.2900 on CADJPY supply

Keep up at the back!

I've long been a USDJPY rally seller and yen buyer as regular readers will know. I hope it's earned some of you a few pips too.
