Froman is an American lawyer who has served as the U.S. Trade Representative since 2013. He has been Assistant to the Obama and Deputy National Security Advisor for International Economic Affairs.
"The practicality is that until the UK sorts through with the EU the nature of its relationship..It's impossible to have a serious conversation about knowing what of trade agreement you can have with the UK separately"
Lest anyone mistakenly thought that this was a simple one-by-one process. Vested interest and the subsequent complex web will prevail as ever.
Meanwhile GBP going nowhere fast in what has been a cautious start to the week.
