The first coupon sale of the year
The US Treasury will sell 3-year notes at the top of the hour with the results about a minute later. They are trading at 1.565/1.560% in the when-issued market.
The sale is for $38B and it comes ahead of a 10-year sale tomorrow and 30-year sale Thursday.
