Futures tepid
S&P 500 futures point to an 11 point gain at the open.
The index blasted higher midway through yesterday's trade but then gave much of it back late. This is an important day technically for the index. Yesterday's drop coincided with rising yields and rebounding energy prices. Watch those fronts.
