S&P 500 futures 2 points lower
July is a seasonally strong month, particularly the first two weeks, for US stocks. It won't start that way though with futures fractionally lower just ahead of the open.
The backdrop is that the S&P 500 has risen in 7 straight days, including a pop on Friday.
