Pre-market losses are erased and the indexes head up
The major US stock indices erased the pre-market losses and are trading in the black at the start of the trading day:
- The S&P index is trading up 11.21 points or 0.42% at 2655
- The NASDAQ indexes trading up 19 points or 0.27% at 7186
- The Dow industrial average as trading up 100 points or 0.4% at 24052
In the US debt market, yields are holding onto modest gains (in yields).

- Facebook is up 0.79%. A modest rebound after the sharp fall this week
