US stocks open with declines. Nasdaq leads the way lower

Soggy start for stocks.

The major US stock indices are opening lower:

• The S&P indexes down 10 points or -0.34% at 2915.6
• The NASDAQ is down 47 points or -0.59% at 7977
• the Dow is down 96 points or -0.36% at 26735

Yields, has come back off after they were much higher earlier in the day. The 10 year high yield is 3.23%. It is back down to 3.1776% (and at the lows).
