Up a little at the opening
The US major stock indices are opening with modest/small gains:
- The S&P index is up 4.6 points or 0.17% at 2718.66
- The NASDAQ composite index is up 17 points or 0.23% at 7290
- The Dow industrial average is up 34 points or 0.15% at 25064
The initial price action has been to the upside.
Meanwhile over in the treasury market, yields are near unchanged levels. Yields were lower at the NA opening:
- two-year 2.25%, unchanged
- five-year 2.626%, -1.3 basis points
- 10 year 2.851%, -0.9 basis points
- 30 year 3.133%, +0.9 basis points
