Apple leads the way
The US stocks are heading higher in early trading. Apple stopped it's string of lower earnings (vs prior years) with an impressive beat. It is up over $6 or near 5%. That is an 18 month high for that stock. The all time high for Apple comes in at 134.50 area. It currently trades at 127.50. The gain today has added about 42 points to the Dow. The stocks are also being helped by the better US data today.
The S&P is up about 9 points or 0.40%
The Nasdaq is up about 44 points or 0.78%
The Dow is up near 100 points or 0.50%.
