Yesterday's late day sell off not seeing follow through in early trading
The major US stock indices are starting the day in the black. The late day selloff from yesterday is not seeing follow-through selling in early trading.
- The S&P indexes trading up 17.9 points or 0.66% at 2719.18
- The NASDAQ composite index is higher by 47.8 points or 0.68% at 7266.
- The Dow is trading up hundred and 88 points or 0.75% at 24985
In other markets, a snapshot shows:
- US yields are lower. 2 year 2.258%, -0.8 basis points. 10 year 2.915%, -3.4 basis points. Thirty-year 3.194%, -2.6 basis points. At 1 PM ET, the U.S. Treasury will auction off seven-year notes.
- Spot gold is trading up $3.44 on the dollar weakness. The price is trading at $1327.80
- WTI crude oil futures are trading up $.32 or 0.52% at $62.01
