Debate will continue on Friday
The U.S. Senate will not vote on the Republican tax bill on Thursday night. The debate hit a snag when the so-called "trigger" was deemed not within the budgetary rules. As a result (and perhaps as a result of other snags too), the debate will continue for at least one more day.
There was no word on whether or not a will take place on Friday.
