Hoping he does not act unilaterally without Congressional approval
US Senate majority McConnell is saying that if Pres. Trump reaches a significant agreement with N. Korea, he hopes it will be as a treaty.
He also added that:
- He believes administration will have to come to Congress in some form on North Korea.
The key word is "believes". It seems he does not know for sure and this is coming from the Senate Majority Leader (a Republican).
It's never easy, is it?
