US pending home sales fall 8.7% compared to -0.3% expected

• Largest monthly decline since May 2011

Naturally realtors are blaming the weather but housing hasn’t shown the greatest signals lately. In year-over-year terms, sales were down 6.1% compared to -0.3% expected.
