The NY attorney general has filed a lawsuit against Pres. Trump, his family and the Donald J. Trump Foundation

According to the lawsuit,
- Defendents are accused of self-dealing, wasting charitable assets and violating tax law
- General lawsuit seeks restitution, penalties against US Pres. Trump, ban on Trump serving as officer of a charity
- also looking for a declaration that the Trump foundation conducted business in a persistently illegal manner
First take, more "witch hunt" cries are coming.
The accusations seem vague and opinionated (i.e., wasting charitable assets, self dealing. That may be hard to prove or open for interpretation), but could be a nevertheless be a distraction. As in most lawsuits, the devil is in the details and may have to play out in the court of law.
