Pundits calling a pick up for the Democrats in Virginia
There are around 64 seats thought to be in contention, the others are likely to be held by incumbents with a large enough majority to be thought to be safe (famous last words, right?)
USD is continuing its slide … if Democrats take control of the lower House the general consensus is for 'gridlock' in US politics for the next two years (at least) with little prospect of reform.

- USD/JPY down
- AUD, kiwi, CAD all up against the USD also (NZD had a big jump earlier on stunningly goos jobs numbers)
