US pending home sales for July 2019:
- Prior was +2.8% m/m
- Sales +1.7% y/y vs +1.8% expected
- Prior y/y sales were down 0.6%
This is a poor number but the y/y reading was basically in-line with expectations and that suggests some revisions somewhere down the line. As you can see, the m/m numbers have been all over the place recently.
