July construction spending data:
- Prior was -1.3% (revised to -0.7%)
This is better than it appears. It's a small miss on the headline but a larger revision to the June number. Overall, it puts construction spending at a higher level than believed.
However at the same time as this release, ISM manufacturing fell to 49.1 from 51.2 prior.
