US January construction spending +1.8% vs +0.6% expected

January US construction spending data:

• Prior was -0.2% (revised to +0.2%)
• Best since last Feb

That's a nice jump and will add to Q1 GDP. If not for the virus, we might be having a conversation right now about how the US housing market was heating up.
