Consumer confidence from the Conference Board
- Prior was 113.7 (revised to 113.3)
- Present situation 129.7 vs 126.1 prior (revised to 123.5)
- Expectations 99.8 vs 105.5 prior (revised to 106.4)
That's a big drop in expectations. It's way too soon to say the Trump-bump has lost momentum though with the main index still 10 points above where it was in October.
