Better report with the employment and new orders leading the way.
Recall that the manufacturing index was weaker than the prior month at 50.1 versus 50.9 and January. The employment component in the met fracturing index rose to 46.9 from 46.6, but was still below the 50.0 level. New orders in the manufacturing index fell to 49.8 from 52.0. So nonmanufacturing is showing a much more positive picture compared to the manufacturing sector.
