US House votes to sanction China officials over human rights

The US House overwhelmingly voted to impose sanctions on Chinese official over human rights abuses against Muslim minorities.

The vote was 407-1. The legislation could trigger retaliation including the release of an 'unreliable entities' list of US companies. China may also ban all US passport holders from entering the Xinjiang region.
