Trump makes the announcement
The US was in a tough spot after Canada grounded the planes earlier today. Some US routes fly in Canadian airspace so it created a headache. More importantly, a third 737 MAX going down in anyone's country would devastate any politician who didn't give the order.
Shares of Boeing fell to $367 from $374 on the news and hit a fresh six-week low.
