The US dollar is nearing session highs against the pound and yen and is pressing some stops in thin trading with the US on holiday.
Cable ran through some stops below the session low of 1.5114 and down to 1.5112. The post-SNB spike low was 1.5075.
USD/JPY has been steadily climbing after falling to 116.90 in Asia-Pacific trading but it has clawed its way to 117.68. That’s just shy of Friday’s high of 117.78.
