US December 2018 construction spending data

Looking at 2018 as a whole, spending rose 4.1%, which is the slowest growth in seven years. Private residential construction rose 3.3% in the year after gains of +10% for six straight years. Hopes for a boom in manufacturing are also fading as private manufacturing construction spending fell 1.7% in the year.
