124 vs 114 in Jan and 122 in Feb’09. Monster’s senior vice president
Jesse Harriott noted that some of the Feb gain was likely due to
seasonality, but that gains in sectors such as manufacturing,
transportation, and wholesale trade are “an encouraging sign of
increased investment and business activity.” The index was up 1.6% y/y,
