US DATA: Oct Tsy budget -$120b vs -$98.5b in Oct’11. US Tsy says after adjusting
for calendar alterations, the deficit was little changed (Oct’12 had 2 more
business days, thus had $10b more receipts; but Oct’11 had some payments shifted
into Sept, thus had an artificially low deficit). Oct was the first month of
FY13, so there are few conclusions that can be drawn.
