US DATA: Oct ind production +0.7%, well above ests, but Sept was
rev to -0.1% (prev was +0.2%). Fed said most of the Sept revision
resulted from lower estimated output for mining. Oct mfg +0.5% on broad
strength, mining +2.3% (after a rev -0.5% in Sept; gains were in all
components) and utilities -0.1%. Oct Cap-U was 77.8%, still 2.6 pts
below its long-run avg. So overall this was as expected.
