overall and +2.3% YOY core. Food +0.2% as fruits/veg surged 1% but dairy
fell in a 3rd drop. Energy -1.7% as gas -2.6% (+1.8% NSA) after 3 good
gains, nat gas -1.8% in a 6th drop in 7 mos, and electric +0.2%. In
core, hospital svcs +0.6%, used cars +1.5%, new autos +0.4% (+0.1% NSA)
and apparel +0.4%; but recreation, household furnishings, jewelry & toys
fell, leveling the total. OER was +0.2%.
