US DATA: 21 company Johnson Redbook Same-store Sales Index (SSI)
was up1.0% following a 2.6% gain in August and a 1.9% gain in July. Two
double-digit laggards were Walgreen, -11.0% and Wet Seal, -12.7%.
Leading store formats were led by warehouse clubs, +6.0% and apparel
specialty stores +5.4%. Among retailers, thirteen companies posted gains
and three companies posted negative results
