Mondays always see a drop because of testing and reporting lags on the weekend so I wouldn't take anything from this number. However when you look at the past week or so, the growth in US cases has clearly slowed and we're likely near a plateau -- so long as Thanksgiving travel doesn't lead to a spike.
Deaths yesterday were 882 compared to 1476 previously.
