US Challenger March job cuts data now out 5 April

  • 60,357 job cuts in March
  • highest monthly total since Apr 2016

Ouch. Not good news but USD unfazed with USDJPY up to 107.07 again. GBPUSD down to 1.4035 and EURUSD 1.2260

Challenger Job Cuts, released by Challenger, Grey & Christmas monthly, provides information on the number of announced corporate layoffs by industry and region and is a labour market indicator.

All second tier compared to the NFPs/wages report coming up tomorrow at 12.30 GMT
