30 year yield approaches 2015 high
US treasury yields are moving higher in trading today and looking toward the high closing yields for the year. The January 2 closing yield for the 30 year was at 2.688%. The current yield is 2.6812%. The low yield for the year came in at 2.22% (on January 30).
For the 10 year, the high closing yield from January 2 came in at 2.1105%. The current yield is 2.087%. The low yield for the year came in at 1.6407% on January 30th.
US equities are down on the day, with the Dow down around -46 points, the S&P down -4.63 and the Nasdaq down about -8.
