This is an index which measures the opinion of small businesses on the economic conditions in the country. The data was scheduled to be released at the top of the hour but the source website has released the report here.
The latest figure here is the highest ever reading ever recorded in the survey's 45-year history as small businesses continue to show strong optimism surrounding the US economy. Of note, capital spending plans were the highest since 2007 and inventory investment plans were at the strongest levels since 2005.
It's not a major report but it's one that will certainly continue to fuel positive tones on the US economy.
