It really isn't the highest level traded but it would be the highest close
The headline reads that the 10 year yield hits the highest level since May 2011, but in reality it would be the highest close if it closed above 3.2328% (Friday's close). The high reached 3.2405% so far. The highest yield traded (according to Bloomberg at least, reached up to 3.2594% in yesterday's trading.
Technically, yield tested the 100 hour moving average and is finding support near that level. The 100 hour MA comes in at 3.217%. A move below (with momentum) would swing the bias more to the downside.
