Tests October high yield at 2.4736%
The passing of the tax bill and better housing data this morning has helped the yields in the US.
The benchmark 10 year note is up 6.66 basis points (ominous I know) at 2.4608%. That is getting close to the October 25th high yield of 2.4736%. The high yield for the year reached 2.6277%. The high from 2016 from December 15th 2016 reached 2.6394%.
The data and the tax changes seems to be bearish for US debt instruments at least today. Get above the 2.4736% high and a run toward the 2016/2017 highs will be eyed.
