- financial services is an area where UK and EU can and should collaborate closely
- we expect transition period to be formalised at March meeting
- fin services are not a zero sum game
- fin servs a sector that is impossible to replicate
- Brexit deal based merely on precedent shows no breadth
- we can do much better than CETA and TTP on fin servs given UK/EU starting position
- UK can not be a rule taker on fin servs
