The UK is adamant that they won't seek an extension ahead of the deadline at the end of the month
Even so, the EU has left the door open for post-Brexit trade negotiations to continue until October. Although, there are many lawmakers on both sides that believe it would leave things too late ahead of the December ending to the transition period.
