UK's Gove: Government will 'reflect over the next few days' on withdrawal agreement bill

Comments by UK environment minister, Michael Gove

This is in reference to the question that if there is certainty that the WAB will be put forward to a vote on the first week of June. It basically means that they're not as sure now given the cold response from lawmakers overnight.

In some ways, I reckon this is a good thing for the pound. The current sentiment looks to be building towards whether or not Theresa May stays in office before the WAB is put forward to a vote. Hence, as long as she stays in office, the pound should remain offered given that the circumstances haven't changed.

But with May out of the way, it opens up a whole lot more avenues for the pound so we could see some relief and short covering because we don't have to deal with another failed "meaningful vote" in parliament.
