People love a conspiracy theory and Brexit had provided plenty of fuel for them. Loads of rumours circulating that some people are standing to profit huge sums on a no-deal Brexit etc etc. Check out an article from the Daily Telegraph here. This outlines the issue well.
Well, I know how Britain is going to leave the EU and monitor the borders quickly and efficiently. We will use an as yet unknown alien technology from Area 51...The BOJO Blaster. He will just aim it at Brussels from Westminster and 'kapow'. It's all sorted.
