According to the reports by the BBC
- New proposal would allow UK the freedom to set its own tariffs on goods arriving
- Technology would be used to determine beforehand where goods ultimately end up
They're referencing to UK PM May's new proposal that is set to be discussed tomorrow at Chequers. She's trying to find a compromise in order to sort out the division among her own Cabinet.
There's been talks that this would result in a soft Brexit, but for May to get a compromise I think it's more along the lines of the softest stance among the hard Brexit options in my view. But we can only wait and see until the official details are out - and then we will have to see how Cabinet will react to it.
