Suddenly, the pressure is ramping up on the pound and Brexit negotiations. If May isn't able to bring back a feasible proposition from Salzburg, it's going to be tough for her to secure votes in parliament. And the report earlier here certainly suggests that things aren't looking up.
While a second referendum is still an unlikely scenario, the headline here is more symbolic on the gloom and doom that accompanies May's position as prime minister if Chequers results in failure.
