The drop yesterday was a fake-out
Many people raised eyebrows at the drop in the Sunday numbers. It's the second week in a row when they've been unreliable.
- Deaths 786 vs 441 yesterday (619 a day earlier)
- Cases rise to 55,242 from 51,608
- Total deaths to 6,159
On Sunday Neil Ferguson estimated 7,000-20,000 total UK coronavirus deaths. 786 died just yesterday and the total is 6,159 now. Where is he getting these estimates?
An important note is that these numbers also exclude Manchester, Leeds and Northern Ireland.
