Comments by UK PM spokesman, James Slack
- Says any new proposal on Irish backstop will be put forward in due course
- Brexit talks are continuing on an 'intensive basis'
- Says that members of government are expressing support for May
Once again, it doesn't look like they have anything credible to be presented with regards on the Irish backstop/border. Do be reminded that UK Brexit secretary Dominic Raab will be due to speak in parliament later today on Brexit updates. The session at the Commons is scheduled to begin at 1230 GMT but there's no set timing on Raab's appearance.
