Theresa May speaks in parliament
- It was just a draft treaty
- It puts us close to a Brexit deal
- Says that her Brexit deal is a negotiating win
- Says that neither us or the EU are happy with arrangements for the Irish backstop
- Does not want to extend implementation period
- Does not believe we will need to do so
- Voting against the deal would take us back to square one
This is turning into a real joke. A draft treaty, really? It's clear she's trying to defuse the tension and backpedal but this is just looking daft right now. You can watch her live here too.
