UK PM May: What we agreed yesterday was not the final deal

Theresa May speaks in parliament

  • It was just a draft treaty
  • It puts us close to a Brexit deal
  • Says that her Brexit deal is a negotiating win
  • Says that neither us or the EU are happy with arrangements for the Irish backstop
  • Does not want to extend implementation period
  • Does not believe we will need to do so
  • Voting against the deal would take us back to square one

This is turning into a real joke. A draft treaty, really? It's clear she's trying to defuse the tension and backpedal but this is just looking daft right now. You can watch her live here too.
