Prime Minister Theresa Mays poke on Sudnay, saying she is looking for a "pragmatic solution" to the parliamentary stalemate on Brexit
She is seeking renewed negations with the EU. A key sticking point is the land border between the UK and EU on Ireland. May, writing in the Telegraph said:
- "When I return to Brussels I will be battling for Britain and Northern Ireland, I will be armed with a fresh mandate, new ideas and a renewed determination to agree a pragmatic solution that delivers the Brexit the British people voted for."
Please note the vote was in June of 2016. So far, after 2+ years of negotiations the issue remains unresolved.
