Some comments by UK prime minister Theresa May crossing the wires
- Not practical or sensible to set out how government will analyse final Brexit deal before it is even reached
- Says that Britain will honour its financial obligations to the EU but nothing is agreed until everything is agreed
There's nothing here that will add anything new to the current Brexit rhetoric. The focus right now is all about whether or not there is anything substantial to be discussed today and in the coming weeks for there to be a reason for European leaders to meet again in November.
Otherwise, the can is set to be kicked down the road with the timeline for a deal set to be pushed back to December instead.
